Linear monitoring

Dowload PDF

AIR MARINE has monitored more than 2 millio accumulated kilometers. Air Marine has a unique know-how in the field of linear network monitoring thanks to more than 15 years of experience and optimazed technical and human resources for these missions.

The company’s commitment to quality services makes it possible to archieve a mission fulfillment rate of more than 99%.

Technical means

AIRPLANES

6 aircrafts equip the Air Marine’s fleet, including twin-engined plane TECNAM P 2006.

AIRMON EMBEDDED SYSTEM
Airmon is an onboard airbone surveillance system designed to capture images automatically and assist operators in their anomaly detection work.

The sensor placed through a hatch in the plane’s floor points to a predefined target (network), and captures very high-definition photos. Each pixel is geo-referenced in real time. The seated operator in the right-back seat investigates dangerous situations that may threaten the integrity oh thepipeline on shots. A second screen on the left shows the photos of the previous inspection for comparison. The route of the targeted network is actually displayed increased for the pilot to facilitate tracking.

AIRMON integrates onboard the TECNAM P 2006 and can board several types of sensors to carry out other types of low-cost missions.

In addition to its multi-missions capability, Airmon brings considerable added value to the monitoring of linear infrastructure :

Reliability of the surveillance :

Thanks to its vertical aim, the AIRMON surveillance suppresses the effects of masks generated by the vertical elevations of the trees or buldings.

Thanks to the decorrelation of the speed of the aircraft and the speed of the observer’s surveillance. Indeed, the automatic capture system realizes the images that are available but that are displayed only when its calls them to the difficulties specific to each oh them.

The observer may even pause in his surveillance while the mission sustem continues the screens.

Traceability :

Thanks to the systematic recording of all the captures, the memory of the ground remains acquired and the consultation is quickly accessible. So, each trace of anomaly may be the subject of a prior art search with as much depth as the archiving time will be determined.

Cost :

Direct visual surveillance trajectories requires backtracking that the AIRMON surveillance photos avoids. So/Thus the flight times are reduced and on long missions, the costs are reduced.

Viewair is the internet portal for reading aerial surveillance reports. It presents the position of the anomalies on the layout of the network. Each anomaly is the subject of a commented card with photo support. The site allows our customers to monitor the progress of the monitoring and to draw statistics. The observer enriches the database and facilitates observation missions. Optionally, the client can receive the images from the capture and this in near real time. A parallel location on one of the « google map », « IGN GEOPORTAIL » or other displays is possible.

HUMANS RESOURCES

Pilots

The Air Marine pilots are all of the high level of experience (more than 5,000 flight hours on average), with complementary profiles (civilian and military). This high level of the experience ensures the security of operations and a high level of the mission completion rate.

Observers

AIR MARINE Observers are also pilots and benefit from a strong aeronautical experience. They are trained to detect anomaly (15,000 per year).

Flow of operations

1. Planning

Air Aerial surveillance missions are planned several months in advance to ensure man/machine availability. This industrial organization make it possible to mitigate the unforeseen (urgent missions, binding weather).

2. Overview

The network is flown other to acquire the data that will be exploited by observers. In case of imminent danger an alert is sent in real time.

3. Delivery

Monitoring reports are posted on viewair and made available to customers.

Deliverables

Monitoring report

Report sumitted every morning after each monitoring. It contains all detected anomalies, their nature and the general condition of the network.

Notifications

In case of imminent danger, the crews warn the client during the flight, in real time.

Hotline

Supervisory operators are available to provide all informations relevant to the functioning of the network.

High efficiency

Surveillance is carried out over a very long distance (more than 1,000 km per day).

Quality

The mission fill rate is 98%. The anomaly detection is very high

Earnings

Speed

All surveillance report aure submitted at 8 :00 am the day after the mission

Traceability

Our missions are traced and the monitoring reports are recorded on all parameters, flight paths, radio conversation, surveillance report, AIRMON systematic capture …

Recurrence

The company has the ability to perform very regular overflights.

Economic

The mission system is optimized to reduced cost.
